Have a guess: What’s this?
Think you can identify it?
The prize: A chilled summer wine on Maureen’s terrace.
The answer: Next week.

Hi Mike/Maureen, is it a Peacock, if not, let’s pretend it is…….. a wine on your terrace sounds great, rain, rain and more rain here

ok, I think it’s a close up of ink on the slab after it’s had the plastic or foil removed. Does that chilled wine come with a plane ticket???
You are too clever, Deb. Yes, it is ink, not on a slab but drying up in a tin.
Alas, no plane ticket. Would you settle for a tapa of roasted almonds?
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. Funny you should write yesterday. Maureen was just mentioning some friends we have from New York and she said, “They’re wonderful people, up there with Carol Lader…”.
roasted almonds it is! and that Carol Lader, she’s good people… Love, deb
Or, (do we get two tries?), it could be a closeup of a plate after being in the acid….
I’m not sure I can wait a whole week to know the answer to this Mike….(;-)
That is a thin layer of dried ink or a “skin” on top of good ink in a can of oil based ink.

You’re right on, Pat. You’re a winner, too. Thing is, you’ll have to share your summer wine with Deb Lader.
