The renovation of Maureen’s Gallinero (Chicken House) artists’ residence was finished in March of 2010 and since then it has welcomed artists from more than a dozen countries, who came to work with Maureen in her studio. All of them agreed that they had never experienced accommodation quite so conducive to creative work. Is it the silence, the mountain air, or the purposefulness of the 17-foot-long work bench? Is it the radical changeover to red wine, siestas and garlic with everything? Or the herb garden outside the front door? Whatever it is, it works, and artists from Seattle to Sydney are coming back for more. You might like it, too.

are we correct in planning to fly to madrid? i need to read
the details of how we then get to grenada.
we are thinking that we will go back to madrid on sunday,
june 19, and fly to usa on tuesday, june 20.
i will put a check in the mail tomorrow (2/17/11) to cover
our deposit.
